Malmedy
We strolled around Malmedy, a town near Coo and the town with our B&B - Stavelot. Here is a florist at which Eliot smelled almost all the flowers - video coming soon. Statue in foreground, WW II memorial in background. Malmedy was heavily bombed in 1944. During the bombing raids over three days, including Christmas, in 1944, about 300 people took shelter in this cave. Unimaginable that 300 people spent days in this cave.

Hi, I visited Malmedy this weekend (17-18 december 2011). Any idea how big this cave is? On the picture it's just the entrance I suppose. It's possible to get in the cave because there's enough room next to iron door. I didn' try but next time I will.
