All About Eliot

This post, with its many photos of arguably the cutest child in Belgium, is less about Belgium and more about Eliot. Eliot does love fountains and wanted to walk around and around this one near the town hall. He probably would have gotten in if I would have let him to the amusement of a few passers-by.
Eliot also loves trees. Here he is peeking out from behind one. There were some pigeons in this park. A few were like those in the US but a few were a different type that I saw in Scottland and here. I wanted to photograph the European ones, but they were slightly startled by Eliot's shrieks of joy at their presence and fluttered off.
Eliot also enjoys flowers. As many people have them out near the street he has many opportunities to see different kinds. He wanted to see "more" and "more" of these pink ones. He is pretty good about touching flowers gently with one finger (as we taught him to handle our house plants) but occasionally some flowers get man-handled as these are about to.
And, Eliot likes parks. He enjoyed bouncing on this airplane in this park designed especially for kiddos aged 1-4. This is the second of this type of park I have found. It's really helpful because I don't have to distract him from equipment that is really too big or dangerous for him. Only age-approprate stuff here!
