We are unpacking in our first apartment in Brussels. We will be here for four weeks. I took a few quick photos of the kitchen (well-equipped but no oven), living/dining room, bathroom (toilet is in a separate small room), bedroom, and view out the window. It is located in a residential area very close to a metro stop and a bus route. Buses roar past our windows every 10 min or so, but so did trucks back in Chicago. Speaking of loud vehicles, we have been visited by at least five waste collection vehicles since we moved in about 24 hours ago. We hope Tuesday is trash/recycling collection day and these vehicles will not come again until next week! All in all, though, this location is great and we've met another family with a 17-month old who have told us about some great parks in the area that we will bring Eliot to over the next few days.
