More of Brussels

Brussels has a lot of parks, especially where we are currently living. To the right is one of the larger ones. Eliot met a pair of sisters here who played with him. There are also different duck species hanging out at the pond than one would see in the US.

Brussels has many murals and most of them are cartoons (or bands-desinees) like this one.
Cartoons are a prized art form in Beglium. The Smurfs are, in fact, Belgian.
The character to the right is well-known in Belgium. I think his name is Luke.

This is Eliot and I after lunch in a square facing this church. Eliot had some Gouda cheese for lunch, which he likes.
His favorite food at the moment is raisins. We bring them with us on walks and he requests "more" and "more."
This windmill was a surprise find while we were on a tour of the immediate area we live in. It sits atop a hill that is part of sort of a nature reserve. We walked through the reserve, which seemed to include a farm. Eliot liked seeing some horses at the farm. We also saw about 15 rabbits occupying one field. Very pleasant stroll.
