In Brugges

This weekend we went to Brugges, a city about 1 hour west of here, with a co-worker of Chris's Natalia, who had been in Brussels for a business meeting and stayed with us this weekend. We lucked out and had a beautiful day. It was such a beautiful day that there were hordes of tourists, but we fought through them and enjoyed the town anyway. We did not take a boat trip (long lines!) but hope to some other time. Check out this link for more Brugges postings:

Towards the evening the crowds thinned and we were able to enjoy more peaceful strolling, including by this canal.
