We went to a nearby town on Sunday (Wezembeek-Oppem) to go to a sale at a school of childrens' toys and clothes. The school's students (and their moms) were the sellers. Here is a statue of a horse in the town. We thought readers would have fun interpreting all the symbolism. (Why is the rider wearing a mask and why is there an owl on top of it?)

Here is Chris with the bean bag we got for Eliot's room. (Eliot loves it.) In the foreground is a ball toy that I was carrying. There were lots of good toys at good prices. Not so many clothes in Eliot's size.

Wezembeek-Oppem's town hall. There are many German-speakers here - we met a few at the school sale. I heard Chris saying, "Vielen Dank" which I think is how you say/spell "Thanks very much" in German to one mom. (If my German spelling is off, Mom, I can correct this.) I realized he was speaking to a German-speaking family. There is even a German school here.
