On Sunday we drove to Lille, which is just over the French border. It was a very nice town that supposedly until recently was not doing so well until the French government helped it transform itself into a cultural destination. We did a little bit of culture - went to a photgraphy exhibit on China - but mostly walked around and took in the sights. Here is a little girl pushing her brother on a tricycle infront of the art museum.

A book fair. Got a few kids books for Eliot.

Lille has a small zoo that has declared it the year of the frog. Eliot enjoyed this frog photo op. He also got a picture of a frog from an educational booth and was very excited about it. He told the workers at the booth "Bonjour" and "Au Revoir."

He also liked the meercats at the zoo.
